Bionics and optical technologies have been central elements of the regional 10-day technology event including exhibitions, guided tours, adventure trails, live-events, competitions etc..
About 4,000 participants at the age of 8-80 and 60 school classes used this opportunity for their visit. The traveling exhibition “Fascination Light” attracted more than 75,000 visitors at 30 stations during its tour all through Germany.

Aim / Target Group:
Introduce these technologies to students and young people and fill them with enthusiasm. And additionally take a gander at the aspiring business location of Heinsberg.

Partner:
The traveling exhibition has been promoted by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and coordinated by VDI Technology Center. Besides media institutions such as WDR, well-known organizations and companies of the region have been partners of the event.
